Factors that affect
home WiFi connection

With the transmission of 1 basic WiFi Router, data is transmitted wirelessly via radio waves over the air that means you do not need to connect LAN with your router. However, wireless connections are likely to be disturbed by various factors.

Signals

Over 100 Mbps internet requires  a 5 GHz frequency range (The 2.4 GHz band is used for old WiFi routers with a capacity of no more than 100 Mbps.)

Distance from the router

5 GHz WiFi signal strength may be limited due to the National Broadcasting
and Telecommunication Commission restrictions.

Obstacales

Walls and reflective surfaces reflect and hinder your WiFi signal. 
Wireless, Bluetooth devices etc. can be a factor that effects the quality of 5 GHz WiFi

  1. MESH WiFi On Top can be applied for both individual customers and juristic customers registered for Fibre to the Home (FTTH) and Fibre to the Room (FTTR) services only.
  2. The Discount applies to new customers that installing MESH WiFi service only.
  3. Monthly service fees do not include VAT.
  4. Available only for selected packages.
  5. This add-on package is available only for specific packages and allows for up to 3 additional routers, A total of 4 routers are permitted if the main router is included, or if an additional router is obtained through point redemption or purchase.
  6. AIS Fibre3 MESH WiFi Service Rates 69 Baht/month/point (contract 24 months) can apply from 17 Mar 25 – 16 Jun 25 after that a standard rate is 100 THB/month will apply.
  7. Free installation and equipment management fee discount of 2,400 THB when the service is used for the full 24-month period per device.
  8. Eligibility for AIS Fibre3 MESH WiFi Router Loan, 1 router per point provided throughout the service period. The router model depends on the main package subscribed. In case of cancellation or service termination the routers must be returned on the termination date. If the customer not returned, customer agrees to pay for the equipment as per the company's terms and conditions.
  9. Get a 2,400 THB discount on installation and equipment management fees when using AIS MESH WiFi according to the specified period and package terms agreed upon.
  10. Upon completing the AIS Fibre MESH WiFi service period, the system will automatically renew the service at the normal service rate or the applicable promotional offer at that time. SMS notification will be sent before the renewal takes effect.
  11. If AIS Fibre MESH WiFi service is canceled before the end of the agreed service period, the customer agrees to pay a penalty fee based on the installation and equipment management costs to the company, prorated according to the duration of service already used.
  12. The company reserves the right to change the terms and conditions without prior notice.
  13. MESH WiFi On Top is Free of installation.
  14. Use for MESH WiFi mode only (Bridge Mode and Access Point are not supported).
  15. Installation is for wireless MESH devices only (additional LAN cabling not included).
  16. MESH WiFi Router model will match the main router provided during installation.
  17. Customers cannot choose the model of the device. The equipment will be installed according to the standard of the main package in use.
