Power System
- Data Center utilizes 2 source & feeder generators that provide the same power output to
support the system as a backup in the case that one of the feeder generators malfunctions or is
damaged. This backup system ensures the seamless operation of the Data Center at its full
potential at all times.
- Fuel storage tanks equipped as part of the overall power backup system are able to supply fuel
for both generators for up to 48 hours to prevent power shortages.
- The 2,000KVA emergency backup power system (UPS) on each line is equipped with backup batteries
that can support the system for 15 minutes.
- The 300kW rectifier that provides DC current to the system is equipped with backup batteries
which can support the system for 3 hours in the case of a power outage.
- The Data Center is also equipped with a Fault Tolerant backup system on the entire system in
order to keep overall operations working seamlessly without interruptions.
Cooling System
- The building cooling system is designed to support concurrent maintenance service throughout the
whole system with the minimum amount of equipment as N+1.
- The system utilizes the Chilled Water Cool System and uses a quick-start chiller that can start
and cool the entire system within 1 to 2 minutes, which is much faster than regular building
cooling systems.
- The cooling tower is designed to consume a low quantity of water under the CTI Standard and uses
a VSD system to control the water pumps in order to stabilize the pressure and flow rate
efficiently and keep the system stable.
- The air-conditioning system in the computer rooms uses a Precision Air System with an Under Air
Flow design to control the temperature and humidity in the room with high precision. The system
also uses a Cold-Hot les system to increase the low-temperature dispersion rate.
- The air pumping system is equipped with a Humidity Control Unit (HCU) that is able to regulate
the humidity of the Fresh Air system that is dispersed to other rooms in the building.
Fire Protection System
- The system uses a High Sense Smoke Detector system to send alerts informing of any suspected
fire.
- อThe conventional smoke detectors can command the fire suppressant system that utilizes a cross
zone system to increase detection accuracy and extinguish the fire efficiently.
- Nitrogen-based gas (IG-100) is used as the fire suppressing agent as it is safe for people, the
environment and electronic equipment.
- In the event that the primary fire extinguisher system is not able to put out the fire, a dry
pipe pre-action system is installed as a secondary system, connected to the primary system and the
sprinkle (Wet-pipe) system.
Security system
- Multiple security verification systems are installed to control access to the Data Center. These
include identity verification, vehicle license plate verification and suspicious objects detection
systems. The building is monitored by over 100 security cameras in all areas while guards patrol
the interior and exterior of the building 24 hours a day.
- Accessing the building requires advance registration and personal identification, such as an ID
card or passport. All visitors must be assigned access permission which restricts them to
accessing only their designated areas.
- To access the equipment, keycard access is required as an additional security measure to ensure
customer data security.
Carrier Neutral
- provides high-speed internet access on both domestic and international lines without being tied
to any one service provider. This ensures diversity and flexibility for any carrier provider
seeking to use the data service (Carrier Neutral). This Data Center also serves as an
interconnection hub to the mobile network.
Monitoring 24*7
- The Data Center staff are divided into 3 units.
- The first unit will monitor the facility systems, such as security cameras, water supply,
electricity, backup power and fire protection. This unit will be available 24 hours a day.
- The second unit will focus on monitoring the rental server rooms and looking for any suspicious
activity including any kind of cyber-attack to customers’ servers. This unit will also support
customers on any maintenance needs and guide customers through installation, modification and
repairs when needed.
- The third unit is responsible for controlling, monitoring and repairing the system to ensure its
overall stability. This unit will also provide corporate customers with services such as mobile
device services, IT solutions, infrastructure services and high-speed internet on both domestic
and international connections.
Green Data Center
- The chilled-water air conditioning system was specifically chosen to support environmental
awareness by significantly and efficiently reducing the power consumption of the building.
- A Building Automation System (BAS) has been installed to monitor and control the building’s
facility systems, such as air conditioning and lighting, by switching these systems off
automatically when they are not required or being used.
- High-density foam has been injected into the gaps between the walls to insulate the building
from the outside heat, maintain the internal temperature of the building and reduce the power
consumption on the air conditioning system.
- The total Power Usage Effectiveness (PUE) of this Data Center is approximately 1.4 to 1.6, which
is classified as highly efficient power consumption management.
